Back in action

Sorry, been a long time, been taking a break and trying to shake the demons. I haven't seen Eternity since the night of the incident. I dunno what's happened to her. More important I don't know why I care. That bothers me. I hope it's just because no one else deserves to fall to Slendy. I mean the woman wanted to kill me right? Fuck. Speaking of Slendy. Nothing but dreams. Horrible nightmares more like, but nothing of Him. I'm scared. I feel like something's gonna happen soon. I guess I'll keep running, nowhere to go but..I'll go because if I stop I know He'll get me. Or she will. I guess.

  1. Do you practice lucid dreaming at all? There's two routes you can go with horrible nightmares, and that's learn to control them or go into observer mode. I've had nightmares for years, but they don't bother me at all any more. (Probably why Executor can't really do anything to me.) If you have any connections to animals or gods, you can also use talismanic symbolism to trigger defenses in your dreams. It all boils down to what you can convince yourself of.

  2. Dreams..I don't even remember having dreams most of the time. I've never tried lucid dreaming, never had a need to try to force anything out of my head.. Forgive me for asking stupid questions, but basically..all I need to to is convince myself things can defend me in dreams, and they will help?

  3. Not a stupid question! Think of it this way, your headspace is exclusively yours and you have the homebase advantage. If something creeps in, no matter how it tries to fool you, you know more about yourself than it ever will. A good sense of self and the belief that in your own mind you at least reign supreme is as good as a weapon in your hand. I'm not saying it would be easy, but if the body is a temple, then the mind is its god. So you do what you have to do mentally to get rid of any invader, just as you would if someone broke into your home. The language of dreams is symbolism, so if you can learn to think symbolically, you can use pretty much anything your mind comes up with as a weapon when you're dreaming. If you have strong ties emotional/psychological ties to something in the physical world, your familiarity makes it that much easier to translate into your dream.

  4. @Eternity: No not really
@Mystery: It's going to take some work, but..if I keep having these strange dreams and nightmarish things going on, I guess I'm going to get a lot of practice at it. I better get better fast though because I have a feeling the enemy knows this stuff inside and out too... Thanks for the help :)

  5. Hawk- Oh, what a pity. I have certainly missed you. Hehehehe. Are you really going to try this dream-work? You don't seem to me the type that strays far from the physical world.

  6. Of course I'm going to try it. What, do you think I'm just going to sit around and let my dreams be taken over by Him or His agents? No, I'll fight every step of the way, physically or otherwise.
